There was no emotional exchange, August’s friends were nonexistent and the couple didn’t even go out. What happened to, Ella’s friend, Kayla? Did she stay with Justin or moved on? August proposed to Ella, but there was no story of their marriage. Awesome! When I saw that this was 490 pages, I was a bit intimidated. We’ve all read books that have dragged on and on. But I was completely surprised when I reached the end. I had been captivated beginning to end. August finds out that his late father had put a clause in his will that he must have a child by age 35 or loose his inheritance. He knows he doesn’t want any of the gold diggers he dated in the past, so puts a very vague ad in the paper. Ella came to NYC to teach music at Julliard, but c Awesome! Ella came to NYC to teach music at Julliard, but can’t even get a part time job as a substitute. Despite the final notices piling up, she flips out when she hears what August wants to hire her for. But she finds herself out of options when she’s handed an eviction notice. August and Ella are immediately attracted to each other, but not only do they have to get to know each other, Ella has to learn to navigate the rich world, August’s snooty mother, and the press. I felt completely satisfied when they reached their HEA, (and when August dealt with a nasty side character!) . more. 3.5 stars most of my like comes from August. He was born and raised rich but he was so down to earth. After meeting his mother, it&apos,s a miracle he was such a great guy. It was mentioned that she was not around much after the divorce from his father. It appeared August was more laid back than Ella. The story was good. The plot was a little rushed. It might have been better if the story was a little longer. Ella went from thinking August was crazy to can&apos,t keep her hands off him overnight. The relationship was sweet and I loved the playfulness between them. They fell in love fast but just didn’t realize it until the end. For a short story, there were a couple of outside things that didn’t fit. Why did we get the half story with Kayla and Justin? The ending was kind of abrupt. We get a quick hint of August’s mom and Kayla. I love that we got to see Ella,s dream come true. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. . more. The Fake Business Opportunity He Needed. A light hearted read from one of my favourite authors is always welcome and this one certainly had me laughing out loud with the sassy, sarky quips from the great character of Ella, so down to earth, it was so refreshing! A quick read that you will not want to miss and that I can recommend as the perfect story. The sexy August Burke shocks Ella with his offer of a golden opportunity for her, will and can she bring herself to accept his contract? She’s in debt up to her eye balls and desperate but her aspirations of being a full time music teacher are slim at best. Will Ella be a good fit for what August wants and how can he convince her? I know if it had been me with this opportunity in front of me I would definitely think twice after meeting his mother! I laughed so hard when Mr Pink scratched August’s unmentionables 😂. Can this fake business opportunity be what they both need? I voluntarily reviewed this book after receiving a free copy . more. So we have an opposites attract scenario in this book, as you have guess this was a story of a man place an add for a woman since he needs to do this fairly quickly and now we have our story. It had its funny side and of course steamy side and sometimes they were annoying and the story sometimes just left you wondering but all in all fairly enjoyable. I received an advanced copy of this manuscript and am voluntarily leaving an honest review. This is one heck of book.
