CLINICAL FELLOWSHIP TRAINING PROGRAM

General Overview

A clinical fellowship is an opportunity for a physician to obtain advanced training and/or to acquire more specialized expertise not normally acquired during residency training. Clinical fellows must be recognized specialists or family physicians.

With this programme, physicians that are still in the process of training, or recently qualified and setting up a new service/practice can learn from observing the usual practice in that new department, including any or all of clinical practice, service structures or specific techniques conducted in the Hosting Department.

Clinical fellowship training is ordinarily between 6 months and 1 year in order to enhance experience for recognized specialists or family physicians. Program contains medical practice experience for physicians who seek to improve their skills in a particular specialization with the opportunity to continue their practice in the residency programme or after.

The application package must include the following items:

·        Curriculum Vitae (CV)

·        Copy of Medical Degree (with English translation, where applicable)

·        Applicant’s form

·        Copy of educational transcripts

·        Copy of Passport

·        Proof of English proficiency

·        Proof of Examinations

·        Copy of Specialist Certification (SC)

·        Any other relevant documents
