Now in its third year, the Sunshine Symposium has grown into a powerful platform for cultural diplomacy, medical collaboration, and international scholarship exchange between the Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, and Koç University Hospital in Istanbul, Türkiye. This groundbreaking collaboration celebrates not only advancements in cancer research but also the deep bonds between the United States and Türkiye. The symposium brings together distinguished oncologists, researchers, and medical leaders from both institutions to exchange
knowledge, foster innovation, and inspire the next generation of global medical professionals.
