Lesson #1

This is a lesson on understanding how the site works.

The site is capable of producing several types of courses, using two key structures:
– Courses (Which incorporates lessons, topics, and quizzes)
– Events (which can contain tickets and automatically enroll students in “Courses” after ticket purchase)

If you would like to simply sell a fully online course:
All you really need to do is design the course in the LMS, and open it for sale as you wish. Users will be able to purchase the course and access it according to the pre-set settings.

If you would like to sell a ticket to an in-person event with no online component:
You need to create a new Event, and choose the right dates for the event. Then you can proceed by creating as many types of tickets with limited/unlimited seating as you wish and “Publish” to open it for sale.

If you would like to sell a ticket to an in-person event that has an online component:
Firs you need to create a course specifically for this ticket type, and deem it as “Closed” and “Only Accessible to Enrollees”. Then also create the event for the in-person workshop that you would like to sell the tickets for. As a last step, you will need to connect the course with the specific event.
