Orhan Ağcaoğlu

  • He graduated from School of Medicine, Yeditepe University with “Honor degree”.
  • He was research fellow at the Endocrine Surgery department of the Cleveland Clinic for 1 year in 2011 and he studied minimally invasive and robotic surgery.
  • He was also educated on in the field of “oncoplastic breast surgery” in the Helsinki University in 2016 and in the field of “minimally invasive and robotic endocrine surgery” in the at Gangnam Severance Hospital of the Yonsei University, the Anam Hospital of the Korea University and the Seoul National University Hospital in South Korea in 2018.
  • He is holder of the “Jean-Francois Henry Scholarship Award” for the Year 2019 that is granted by the European Society of Endocrine Surgeons for young endocrine surgeons and he has been “endocrine surgery fellow” at Gemelli Hospital, Roma Universita Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, Italy, the Halle University Hospital, Germany and the Churchill Cancer Center, Oxford University, the U.K.
  • He has been speaker and trainer in several conferences, webinars and courses.
  • He authored more than 100 papers that are published in international peer-review scientific journals and were cited by more than 1500 papers with an H-Index of 22.
  • He was board certified by European Society of Endocrine Surgeons (ESES) in 2017. He has been member of the Fellow Committee and Board Examiner at the Division of Endocrine Surgery in the European Board of Surgery since 2018.
  • Member of Turkish Surgical Association, The Society for Endocrine Surgery, Association of Dialogue in Endocrinology, National Breast Surgery Association, Turkish Association for Endoscopic – Laparoscopic Surgery, the European Society of Endocrine Surgeons and the Asian Association of Endocrine Surgeons.
