  • He has been robotic surgery trainer in numerous international (European Urology Congress and the ERUS Congresses) and national courses.
  • He has performed more than 800 robotic urological surgery and participated in more than 1000 robotic urological surgery as of January 2020.
  • He was granted numerous awards especially in congresses held by the European Robotic Urology Society (ERUS).
  • He authored numerous papers, book chapters and studies on the robotic urology. He took role in international multi-center trials (ERUS and IRCC).
  • He educated the first urologist of Turkey within scope of the ERUS curriculum robotic prostate cancer surgery education program.
  • He was invited lecturer, panelist or moderator in numerous congresses, symposiums and courses, especially including the international ones, in the field of robotic urology.
  • He has largely focused on the robotic urology since February 2009.
  • He is editor, chapter editor, member of scientific committee and reviewer in many international and local scientific journals.
  • Prof. Canda is a member of European Association of Urology Robotic Urology Section (ERUS), American Urological Association (AUA), European Association of Urology (EAU), Societe Internationale d’Urologie (SIU), Endourological Society, Turkish Urological Association, National Endourological Association, Eur-Asian Urooncology Association, Urooncology Association.
