Management of Complications in Robotic & Laparoscopic Urology and Minimally Invasive Partial Nephrectomy
AIMS AND OBJECTIVES;
Lectures and video presentations will be given about complications & management of laparoscopic & robotic urology complications. Performing partial nephrectomy will also be covered. Hands-on training will include on Da Vinci robotic simulators, laparoscopy training boxes and on porcine models under anesthesia.

Lectures on components of Da Vinci surgical robotic system
• Lectures on robotic instruments
• Video presentations & lectures on complications & management of
robotic & laparoscopic urology complications
• Hands-on training on robotic simulations & laparoscopy training boxes
• Hands-on training on porcine models under anesthesia (depending on
time):
– Performing port placement
– Performing ureteral injury repair, uretero-neo-cystostomy, ureteroureterostomy
– Performing bowel injury repair
– Performing major vessel injury repair
– Performing partial nephrectomy
