Customer Reviews
Many users report improved hearing clarity and reduced tinnitus symptoms after consistent use of SonoVive. Positive reviews highlight its dual benefit for ear health and mental sharpness. Some users, however, indicate that results took several weeks to appear, and others found minimal improvement, emphasizing individual variability.
Where to Buy and Price
SonoVive is typically available on its official website or through trusted online retailers. Prices range from $49 to $69 per bottle, with discounts for bulk purchases. Buying directly from the manufacturer often includes a money-back guarantee.
Conclusion
SonoVive offers a natural approach to hearing health by combining ingredients that support the auditory system and cognitive function. While it shows promise for individuals experiencing mild to moderate hearing issues, it may not replace medical interventions for severe conditions. For those looking for a non-invasive supplement to maintain ear and brain health, SonoVive is worth considering after consulting a healthcare professional.
TL;DR
For the most part, the existing reviews are it’s a scam. Which makes sense since nearly all claims of “curing hearing loss with supplements” are scams.
It could potentially be useful if taken immediately after exposure to loud noise or barotrauma – although the scientific evidence for this is still very speculative.
There is NO evidence that anything in SonoVive would have any effect on reversing existing hearing loss, improving normal hearing, or treating tinnitus from any cause other than stress.
However, it is being actively marketed for treatments for which it can have no effect (reversing existing hearing loss, improving normal hearing) – which (IMHO) makes it a scam.
First, hearing loss occurs from a variety of causes. Treatments (including nutritional supplements) can only address specific causes of hearing loss. If you don’t have that specific cause, it won’t have any effect.
Second, the supplement does contain some compounds known to protect the inner ear from very specific causes of damage. None of these compounds are known to “restore damaged hearing.”
The supplement does contain N-Acetyl L-Carnitine a compound (along with N-Acetyl L-cysteine[NAC]) that has shown some efficacy as a therapeutic agent when taken immediately after encountering sound trauma to the ear. I.e. Soldiers who take it after hearing trauma (gunfire, artillery, explosions, Etc.) have better recovery. It will, in no way, help “restore hearing loss” from any other source, or existing hearing loss.
Vinpocetine is an agent that has shown some efficacy for improving blood flow to the inner ear. Again, should you have an illness which is caused by reduced blood flow, this agent may help. Again, it will not, in any way, restore damaged hearing. It may, however, prevent continued damage if the hearing loss is caused by occluded blood flow.
St. Johns Wart is an antidepressant. There is some evidence it is actually very mildly ototoxic (meaning actually damaging to the ear.) Some forms of tinnitus can be caused by stress, jaw tension, or high blood pressure. Dealing with depression and anxiety may lessen these sources of tinnitus. It has no efficacy (that I know if) for “restoring hearing” or even preventing hearing loss.
Glutamine is a neurotransmitter identified in the inner ear as well as the hearing cortices. It makes sense to some that L-Glutamine supplementation might affect hearing and tinnitus – or be therapeutic immediately after hearing damage. I could find no scientific articles showing L-Glutamine supplementation had any positive effect on hearing loss, or preventing hearing loss.
Phosphatidylserine supplementation falls into the identical category as L-Glutamine supplementation above.
Bacopa Monnieri is a traditional Ayurvedic medicine, sometimes called Brahmi. It is normally used for memory enhancement. I have no idea why they decided to put it in SonoVive. Maybe to remember what good hearing was like? I could find no scientific articles linking Bacopa Monnieri to hearing.
I could find one article (one article is not good evidence, BTW) tying Huperzine A as therapeutic (specifically) when d-galactose (d-gal) has been used to create animal models of neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s. When d-galactose hearing loss was induced (artificially created) in lab animals – Huperzine A was shown to reduce the damage it caused.
This could have benefits in the immediate treatment of sudden sensorineural hearing loss (which usually requires treatment within 2 weeks to be effective.) I can find nothing that implies it would be effective for reversing existing hearing loss.
Gingko Biloba is mostly known for having efficacy in reducing the intraocular pressure associated with glaucoma. However some studies (again) have shown it may be useful for preventing hearing damage if taken immediately after sound trauma.
Again, I can find no evidence that it would be affective for reversing existing hearing loss.
TL;DR
SonoVive seems to be a supplement put together by people who Googled “Supplementation for hearing loss” and tossed in every compound that came up on the front search page.
It could potentially be useful if taken immediately after exposure to loud noise, or barotrauma – although the scientific evidence for this is still very speculative.
It might be useful for reducing tinnitus – if your tinnitus is exclusively the result of stress, depression, or high blood pressure.
There is no evidence that anything in SonoVive would have any effect on reversing existing hearing loss, improving normal hearing, or treating tinnitus from any cause other than stress.
