Overview


He was born in 1972. He graduated from Hacettepe University School of Medicine in 1996. He completed his residency at Türkiye Yüksek İhtisas Hospital Department of Urology in 2001. Between 2002 and 2004 he completed his clinical fellowship at Northwestern University, Feinberg School of Medicine, Department of Transplant Surgery. He received his Assistant Professor degree in 2005 at Ondokuz Mayıs University, School of Medicine, Department of Urology. he received his Professor degree in 2018 at Altınbaş University, School of Medicine, Department of Urology. He has been working as director of Kidney and Pancreas Transplant Program at Koç University Hospital, Organ Transplantation Center since July 2018.


Courses

Basics of Laparoscopy & Robotics: Joint Course

Basic knowledge on laparoscopy will be presented. Hands-on training on laparoscopic and suturing skills will be given including depth perception, dexterity, instrument handling and pattern cutting. Course content will follow European Basic Laparoscopic Urological Skills (E-BLUS) training program. Hands-on training on basic skills exercises by using Da Vinci Xi robotic simulators (including SimNow) will be given for preparing European Basic Robotic Urological Skills (E-BRUS).

To Present Components and Set up of Da Vinci Xi Dual Console Surgical Robot (Console, Patient Cart and Vision Cart), To Present Abdominal Port Sites for Different Procedures, To Present Robotic Instruments Used for Different Robotic Abdominal Procedures, To Present Robot Docking and Undocking To Present Instruments & Equipment Used for Procedures, To Present Anesthesiology of the Patients for Robotic Surgery, To Present Operating Room Nursing for Robotic Surgery (Preparation & Sterilization of Robotic Instruments), To Present Videos of the Robotic Urological Procedures
